What shaped me.

Six turning points. Honest. Unfiltered — but reframed into stance.

  1. Sardinia

Learned early how to handle change.

As a child, dropped into a foreign culture and language. I understood early on: adaptation isn't weakness — it's a superpower.

  2. Neurodermatitis

    My empathy muscle.

Years of setbacks and pain. They made me crisis-proof and taught me: there's no perfect plan, only the will to stand up again.

  3. Sport

    Comebacks are a mindset.

The world of high-performance teams showed me how people function under pressure. Not motivational sport — real high-performance thinking.

  4. From retail to managing director

    Lived every role.

First leadership responsibility at 20, from sales floor to international management. I know how leadership feels from below — and what it must deliver from above.

  5. The rise and the fall

    Scaling, M&A, insolvency.

We wanted to build the next big thing. Then: war, collapse, the end. I know how close euphoria and disillusionment sit — and how to keep your stance in the middle.

  6. The reinvention

    Pain becomes drive.

Three days after the last day I signed up for a coaching qualification — my „un-training“. Trauma isn't overcome, it's integrated. NewTrueMove was born from it.

These experiences shaped me — as a person and as a partner. They make me clear, fast and dependable today.

My story — the highs and lows — with Chris Surell.

A conversation about the journey from hypergrowth CEO through insolvency, personal reset and rebuild — and what leadership under pressure really means.

Will

What I stand for.

Freedom
stay agile, don't let fear or old patterns lock you in.
Composure
calm and long view, especially under pressure.
Compassion
truly see people, without placing yourself above them.
Harmony
work through tension so connection returns.
Courage
seize opportunities, tolerate uncertainty, stand up for growth.
Courage

How I think.

  1. 01

Resistance isn't a disruption. Resistance is information.

  2. 02

The problem is rarely strategy. It's execution.

  3. 03

Leadership under pressure begins with self-leadership.

  4. 04

I see the human and the system at once — because most business problems are really clarity and energy problems.

  5. 05

People don't move through more pressure — they move through clarity, trust and ownership.

Who I work with

When you know what to do —
and it still doesn't happen.

CEOs. Founders. Managing directors. Boards. Investors. Leadership teams in growth, transformation and crisis.

01

Growth turns chaotic.

Structures fall behind. Ownership scatters. Speed leaks out.

02

Transformation stalls.

The direction is clear — but execution gets lost in alignment and resistance.

03

The leadership team isn't aligned.

Decisions drag on. Energy drops. Roles are unclear or overlap.

04

Founder becomes CEO.

The step from founder to leader needs new systems — and a sparring partner who understands both worlds.

05

Strategy is set. Execution is missing.

The problem is rarely strategy. It's execution. That's exactly where I come in.

06

Crisis. Restructuring. Turning point.

In high-pressure phases clarity doesn't appear on its own. It has to be created deliberately.

My approach

The movement I create.

I don't work through methods. I work through a recurring logic of effect — from pressure to performance.

Stage 01 of 07
01Pain

Where nothing works anymore. Pain.

Growth tips over, transformation stalls, the team loses clarity. Pressure becomes constant. This is where every real movement begins — when the pain can finally be named.

Stage 02 of 07
02Clarity

See what's really there. Clarity.

Tensions surface. Patterns get named. The unspoken hits the table. Clarity is the precondition for energy.

Stage 03 of 07
03Ownership

Who carries what. Ownership.

Roles clarified. Decision spaces drawn. Ownership doesn't come from appeals — but from structures and trust.

Stage 04 of 07
04Decision

What happens now. Decision.

When clarity and ownership are in place, decisions get lighter. Not because they're easy — but because they can hold.

Stage 05 of 07
05Execution

From talking to doing. Execution.

The problem is rarely strategy. It's execution. Here it gets properly organised — with pace, rhythm and consequence.

Stage 06 of 07
06Passion

When energy returns. Passion.

Out of clear movement comes new appetite. The team feels it: we're actually moving something. Leadership becomes joy again.

Stage 07 of 07
07Performance

What lasts. Performance.

No flash in the pan. But an organisation that stays capable under pressure. Clarity, ownership and energy as a system — not by luck.

Serendipity Mindset.

„The most important leadership skill of our time isn't knowing everything upfront — it's training the muscle to work with the unexpected.“

— Prof. Dr. Christian Busch · NYU & LSE

The unexpected isn't a risk — it's a space of possibility. What many leaders lack isn't more strategy — it's the ability to recognise a better possibility in the exact moment a plan tips over.

This is where I come in. In sparring with CEOs, in leadership workshops and on stage I work with teams on this muscle — structured, trainable, everyday-ready.
